A LOOK BACK ON 2025

Annual Praise Report

‘I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.’ Matthew 8:11

We Thank God for You!

‘I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.’ Matthew 8:11

Jesus spoke these words after seeing the faith of a Roman centurion—not the first person you would expect to respond to the Jewish Messiah. This is also the verse God put on our hearts for our ministry in 2025. Indeed, we have seen that the Holy Spirit is at work today among those who once seemed the most hardened and far off—Arab Muslims.

In 2024, we prayed for the number of people professing faith to rise to one per day, and in 2025, we prayed for it to double. God has been so faithful to bring even more people to us; we are celebrating 883 individuals who professed faith in 2025. For every person we meet, we believe God has many more whose hearts belong to Him. This is a time of harvest across the Arab world. As we head into 2026, we lean on God’s promise: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you…” (Acts 18:9-10).

You are an integral part of this team. This vital work would not be possible without your help. Through your prayers and giving, God is using you to impact some of the most challenging areas of the world today. We are so grateful for you!

Celebrating 2025

As we look back, we are filled with gratitude for how God is moving across North Africa and the Middle East. From quiet digital connections to courageous public steps of faith, we are reminded that no heart is out of reach.

We feel so blessed by the growth we’ve seen this year. It is clear that God is preparing the hearts and minds of people across the Arab world. In 2025, we shared God's love with millions online, leading to personal conversations with over 20,000 individuals who reached out to learn more. Our dedicated Arabic-speaking responders have been there every step of the way, offering support and guidance.

The hunger for truth is truly inspiring:

  • Over 5,800 seekers and new believers downloaded a digital Bible to discover God’s Word for themselves.
  • 883 people professed faith in Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
  • 61 individuals took the courageous next step of baptism.

Momentum Builds in North Africa

We have continued to focus our efforts on North Africa, a region where many still have little opportunity to meet a follower of Jesus in person. In these remote areas, the digital world is a vital bridge. We’ve been privileged to engage in deep conversations, listening to personal stories and helping people navigate their questions. It is encouraging to see the Word of God reaching more hands and to witness the church growing in a land that truly needs hope.

Connecting with the Heart of the Shi’a

While much outreach naturally focuses on Sunni communities, we’ve felt a growing call to remember Arabic-speaking Shi’a people in places like Iraq, Lebanon, and Bahrain. This past year, we made it a priority to pray for and reach out to these specific communities. We are so encouraged to see people from these backgrounds choosing to follow Christ, with new believers already sharing their faith and taking the step of baptism.

Reaching Islamic Scholars

Engaging with scholars who have dedicated their lives to studying Islam at the highest levels can feel daunting. These men and women have deep ties to tradition and much to lose. Yet, we see that nothing is impossible for God. We’ve noticed a growing sense of disillusionment among some scholars, and it has been a privilege to walk through their questions. This year, we were moved by the scholars—both men and women—who began to follow Christ. Many are now setting aside time to study the Bible deeply, often joining study groups to learn alongside others.

An Egyptian Scholar Seeks Truth

Omar was a scholar of Islamic law, trained to defend his faith and expose what he saw as weaknesses in the Bible and Christian doctrine. But over time, he began to see problems in Islam and to question what he’d put his faith in all his life. Then, he watched Mel Gibson’s film The Passion of the Christ.

“As I saw what happened to Jesus, I couldn’t stop myself from crying. His suffering touched something deep inside my heart.”

He quietly decided to learn more about Christianity, this time from Christian sources. That’s how he found our Arabic website.

“Step by step, my understanding grew, and my heart was opened. I came to the conviction that Jesus Christ is truly the Lord and the Saviour. In August 2025, I put my faith in Him.”

Omar continues to grow and has fellowship with other believers. He asks us to pray that the Lord would give him wisdom and grace as he shares his faith in Christ with his closest friends and family. Omar is likely to face significant persecution. There is a real danger that his faith will flounder if he rushes this journey, moving too quickly from being a Muslim preacher to being a Christian preacher. May the Lord instead guide him into a deep, rooted, and authentic life of faith.

Courageous Steps of Faith among Arab Women

God is moving in remarkable ways among Arab women. In contexts where seeking Jesus carries a high personal and social cost, their response has been humbling. Many women have reached out through our website with a quiet but persistent hunger for the truth. While their caution is understandable given the potential for rejection or danger, their desire for the healing found in Christ is even stronger. It is a powerful testimony to God’s grace to see so many women finding new life in Him.

On a Road in Old Damascus

Fatma* reached out to us after seeing content highlighting the value of women in Christianity. Something in that message touched her heart deeply. Soon after, she wrote to us with a simple but urgent request: “I saw a dream, and I need someone to explain it to me.”

When we contacted her, she described the dream:

“I saw myself in the Old City of Damascus, walking on a street that felt very long and very dark. Yet at the end of that street, there was a bright light. I began to run toward the light. As I reached it, I saw a very gentle man. Light was shining from his face. He looked at me with kindness and said, ‘You are on the right path. Follow me.’

“I followed him, and we entered a place that looked like a church. When we went in, everyone stood up and said, ‘This is the Messiah.’ Then he turned to me and said, ‘Stand with the women at the front and sing with them.’ Even though I did not know the songs, I began to sing. And as I sang, my heart was overflowing with joy.”

Brother Nader, one of our digital responders, told her there is a real street in Damascus called Straight Street, and that it holds special significance in the Bible because the Apostle Paul encountered God there and had his life completely transformed. He explained that following the Messiah in the dream was an invitation.

After more conversations and study, Fatma made a life-changing decision to follow Jesus. Brother Nader then helped her connect with local believers who invited her to church. There she found what she had seen in her dream. She is being discipled by one of the sisters there, growing step by step in her relationship with Christ—the One who first met her in a dream and gently led her from darkness into light.

2025 in Numbers

When someone comes to faith, our relationship with them is just beginning. We offer small, weekly online gatherings and a specialised app to help new Christians from Muslim backgrounds navigate their new lives. In 2025, 287 individuals participated in these online groups, and 545 people used our discipleship app over 6,000 times.

Looking Ahead in Faith

As we reflect on this year, we are deeply grateful for what God has done—and expectant for what lies ahead as we “keep on speaking” about Jesus (Acts 18). Thank you for standing with us in prayer and support as this life-changing ministry continues to grow.

Please pray that:

  • Many more Arab women will come to know Jesus personally.
  • New believers will be protected, strengthened and discipled.
  • Those exploring faith will encounter truth, love and courage.
  • Emerging leaders and Bible study groups will multiply.
  • The ministry will be fruitful and impact many lives in 2026.
